Who we are

The idea of Dynamo Chess took shape in 2014–15, developed in collaboration with Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua. Early tournaments and the first prototype marked the beginning of this journey. Years of studying both Indian and global chess trends helped refine the concept further.

2022

The turning point came in 2022, when Dynamo Chess was showcased at the Chess Olympiad in Chennai, where our team interacted with legendary figures like Viswanathan Anand and many international icons.

2024

The innovation continued into 2024 with the launch of the Dynamo Chess Mobile App on the Google Play Store, taking the game into the digital world.

2025

By 2025, Dynamo Chess grew even stronger, hosting high-profile online and offline tournaments at St. Xavier’s College Kolkata, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (Kolkata), and Rejoice International School, Mumbai.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to promote creative, skill-building intellectual games that strengthen problem-solving, strategic thinking, and overall brilliance across all age groups.

Through the Dynamo Chess Championship Series, we aim to build a well-structured competitive ecosystem—from schools to cities, states, and eventually global platforms—both online and offline.

To support this vision, we’ve also launched Dynamic Mind Academia, an initiative dedicated to developing and promoting mind-based skill games like chess. It offers structured training, coaching programs, and learning pathways for students, enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to sharpen their strategic thinking.
